The Starting Out Programme has beendeveloped by the National Youth Council of Ireland to standardise training ofvolunteers working with young people throughout the country.
Theprogramme is being piloted across the country with Sign Out Youth Co as one ofthe youth groups to be included in this initial training. The Programme runs for 6 weeks commencing Wed 22nd Feb from 7pm to 9.30pm in Sign Out Youth Cafe. The training is open to everyone over 18, no previous qualifications necessary and is fundedby Galway Rural Development and is free of charge to all participants.

With the ever increasing numbers of Farm Accidents in our rural community, Sign Out Youth Co in association with the Farm Relief Services and Garda Traffic Corp are offering a one day Safe Tractor Skills for Teenagers on Wednesday 11th April (during the Easter break) The aim of this workshop is to create a safety awareness amongst teenagers working with tractors. The training programme is designed for the use of tractor/machinery within the farm.
